Finally, i'm once again stepped into cinema. Oh, it has been quite some time i didn't free myself for entertainment before.

Today with YC, we watched The Forbidden Kingdom at Pavillion.

What's my feedback about this movie?
Hmm, Actually it's quite a nice movie. But as Jason Tripitakas (Michael Angarano) has been transported back to ancient China with mixed of popular chinese fairytale,and the moment he met Drunken Immortal, lu yan (Jackie Chan), jackie chan do speak english.
I was stunned! Even got speechless when heard the Jade Emperor speak english with all the other god.
Izit because that this is a Hollywood marital arts-adventure film?
LoLz... it's kinda funny to have english speaking in this movie. Seems that the chinese culture doesn't much expose in this movie.

This movie quite similar with the drama journey to the west in one aspect as the journey was begin with 4 peoples as well.




But the only difference is as in all are human vs. 2 animals & 2 humans.

Wow, 1st of all i would like to praise jackie chan. I like to watch his movie since small. All the action movie staring by him is not too extreme on fighting scene... and ended up.. people laugh during the fighting scene. This time is not excluded as well. Haha.. kinda relax while watching it.
And unexpectedly, he is a begger who knows drunken fist and always carried along with him the "wu lou" contains the wine in the movie.

Funny to see his "begger" look.. lol..

Well, Jet Li, the monk.. err, actually is the monkey king's hair transformed human.
HAha.. i couldn't really regconised the monkey king is Jet li at 1st. Because in my memory Monkey king = Jackie Cheung Wai Kin (influenced by Journey To The West drama).
But i like his kung fu as well. Haha.

Oh, wonder how the people there walk on those desert full of sand
since walk on the beach also hard.

Alright, about jason?
Hmm, it's kinda creative to get a "guai lou" to be the chosen one to return the powerful weapon to the legendary monkey king story. Haha.. but i'm wondering if he's the one who get all those hard training when learning kung fu?? Woah.. it's hard lo..

The actress that i admired the most is the golden sparrow(Liu Yi Fei). Wow.. she's so pretty. She looks as those graceful China princess.

She just looks great with the "Pipa" that she played on. I like her eyes sooo much.. Heheh..

Sparrow suits her a lot.

Well, i guess that's all about my feedback on the movie. Overall, it's a nice movie as i like those lagendary stories soooo MUCH.. HAHAH..
