The movie that i like the most is those CNY purposed movie starring by her. Not only funny but it's a good entertainment for me during CNY.
Lydia Shum's cheering voice and laughter do melt everyones heart. She starred in Singapore's Channel 5 sitcom Living with Lydia and Cantonese series like Slim Chances. Her performance in Living with Lydia won her the "Best Comedy Performance by an Actress" award at the 2003 Asian Television Awards. She said it was the first time she acted in an English drama in her 40 year career so far.
She married an actor and singer, Cheng siu chow in 1985. They had a daughter, Joyce Cheng Yan-yee, in 1987. However, 8 months after Joyce was born, Cheng and Shum divorced.
We can see how much she loves TVB where in November 2007, during the time she was facing her illness.. She still came back to TVB's Prize giving ceremony.
