My reflection on the green green world

Sunny,

The power of sun is growing stronger,

Beyond the shine, i could see a man,

He looked wise,

Hand folded at the back,

Eyes looking up to the skies and trees,

Yet the hot sun is underneath,

He seems showing his gratitude to the environment,

He seems thinner from the first time i saw him,

Makes me hardly recognize him.

Suddenly, he reminds me of my dad,

My dad is a wise man too but older than him,

He often taught me on how to be a successful person,

Surprisingly is it not from the perspective of materialistic,

It is the self-development!

He is an environmental lover.

He loves to go to park,

In fact it is twice a day,

He told me on how the nature behave,

He told me about birds, ducks, his village life, wars, countries, the earth and all his experience.

How last time, the mist has been converted into the haze today.

He continue to story it even now.

Sometimes, he do seems a little sad and disappointed as he couldn't show me and let me feel what he felt last time. Eg. The mist and fresh air in the early morning.

I really enjoy listen to it, although i can even tell back what he have said.

And that's my bedtime story since i was young.

His love and patient brings me to what i am today.

I love you, dad.

Today, i've grown and i am part of the young generation now,

The world are getting far from what my dad had described to me.

And yet no one seems to bother.

Not until they feel the pain from it.

Not until they feel the pain as much as the African that tried to survive for life now.

Everyone says how much they wanted to help the poor and unfortunate,

But do they know,

The greatest help is to appreciate what we have now and try to maintain it to the best!

Hmm, how to get us into volunteerism?

How to make all of us realize and do things on it sincerely?

Well, let's not point to others but make a self-evaluation first.

To be honest,

Friends influence,

Direct approach,

Showing gratitude on what others have done,

Being treated importantly,

Are the keys to get people involved in self-volunteerisme.

Well, today i was requested to write about my reflection on the green green program,

Seriously, not even a single word come visiting.

Hmm, i just have too many weaknesses to be wise enough to write the paper.

I even have no idea on how to call up more of our generation people to volunteer themselves in such program,

Suddenly, i found that i am very good in pointing out people's weaknesses which i myself are having it,

But i could not even contribute a single thing in changing them, or even myself to understand the true meaning of sustainable living.

What is the meaning of cutting trees to make paper food container, for the sake of replacing the existence of polystyrene. Aren't that a wastage of resources as well?

Well, i do know all this fact, but am i really changing myself to save the nature?

Well, today i'm still one of them who "Ta-pao" food with either polystyrene or paper food container. Why am i not bringing my own Tupperware, which i have the portable one as well?

Haiz, i couldn't find the answer as well. Maybe i should say that it is kind of troublesome and yet not the trend in us yet.
